Cozy Blanket

For power naps in between lectures, or for an extra cold night, this is such a must. Plan movie nights with your friends, or when you order take out and need to eat on the floor, this is so useful to have in your dorm. Though it may seem big, it is so worth having one that is about the size of your bed.

Alternatively an oversized hoodie blanket for winter nights in college!

Bedside Lamp

if you're college is like mine, they will not give you a bedside lamp. But this is so important for when you're reading or studying in bed or simply if the light in your dorm is too bright. This bedside lamp is small, light and durable! It allows you to adjust the brightness of the light and charge your phone at the same time, which is always such an advantage!

Long power cord

Having a long power cord is so underrated. If your college is like mine, the power plug will not be stationed that close to the bed. So checking my phone at night or in the morning was only accomplished by this durable long power cord.

Fairy Lights

When you get to your dorm, believe you will want to make it as yours as possible with decoration. Hanging up pictures is a must for those first few night at college, so you don't forget the friends and family waiting for you back home. It is also great for hanging more pictures form the memories you're about to make!

Bedside organizer

This is a low cost must have that will make your life so much easier. I love studying in bed, but when its 2 am and i wanna sleep I don't want to get out of bed to store my ipad or computer on the desk. This occupies almost no space and is very light so it will be easy to pack if you want to bring it home for the holidays!

Kitchen Set

Do not underestimate how much you need good and various kitchen items. It is an investment that will stay with you for the rest of your college life. Cooking for yourself saves money and saves time also! Invest in a set, because believe me, buying all things separate is such a waste of money!

Mini Desk Vacuum

This was so useful to me. Snacks and meals at your desk will inevitably leave a trail of crumbs that make it hard for you to study afterwards. But in less than five seconds all of that is gone. Its small, useful and easy to pack!

Expresso on the go!

I wish i hadn't waited until my second year to buy this! It is the perfect way to wake up for morning classes. If you're a coffee fiend like me , do not settle for powdered coffee, it is not nearly as efficient or as good!

Backpack Laundry Bag

Lots of laundry trips in your future! at least once a week i promise you will have a laundry bag filled to the top. Sometimes the laundromat is not that close to the dorms, so this backpack kit is perfect. It has pockets for the laundry detergent a

nd conditioner, side pocket for a book to bring with you, an inside pocket for money or wallet to pay for the laundry services and easy to hang on your bathroom or bedroom door like a hamper.

Wireless over ear headphones

to study, to walk around, to go on runs or to the gym. Wherever you are in college headphones is such a must. They are a good investment and these are very low cost in comparison to other bigger brands.

Hydro Flask - 18oz

To bring to your lectures, or to the library or simply if you go visit some part of your college town. It is so important to keep yourself hydrated. We tend to forget water once in college, but do not underestimate its importance!

Portable Blender

a Blender is so useful to make everything from morning or workout smoothies to sauces and small soups. It comes with a bottle so that you don't waste time or cups transferring the contents.

Bath Robe

Turn your dorm into a hotel! if you're bathroom is not within your room (or even if it is) you need a robe. It will make you more comfortable walking to your dorm or if you don't feel like dressing up right after a bath.

Mirror and Jewellery Cabinet

This was such a good find. Some college dorms don't come with a mirror, which one really starts to miss. it is also a jewellery cabinet which saved my life from a clustered desk drawer full of tangled necklaces and bracelets!

perfect way to break the ice with your college flatmates our course mates! this game you'll have you making friends within three rounds. its a great way to bond, laugh and make memories.

Disposable Camera

This is a personal favourite and something i just had a really fun time using. Its something small that you can take in your bag or sometimes even pocket to parties, hangout, socials etc. Its a great way to make memories, and its so fun to revisit memories all the way back to the very first day once you get them developed. I especially recommend this one because the flash works great, which helps when most of your pictures are taken in dark settings

Mini Fridge

This mini fridge is only a little over 40 pounds! It is big enough for your makeup, food or drinks. It is a great way to keep your things fresh and close by! and it is small enough to be kept under or on top of your desk!

Laptop Lock and Security Cable

I had never heard about this before but once i did it went straight into my shopping cart! it is such a useful investment. Laptop thefts are way too common on any campus. keep your laptop safe with this lock!

Hanging Wardrobe Closet Storage

This will triple your closet space and you'll be so thankful for it. Its great for organizing your clothes efficiently and when you need to pack it is easily folded and light as feather for you to carry to your next bedroom.

Finally, plan al your lectures, homework, essays and exams with this easy to hang reusable monthly planner! It will help you create the perfect balance between social and academic life !
